6 years imprisonment for the former Director of the Pension Authority

Baghdad-ALSHARQIYA  January 19: The Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court in Iraq issued a temporary prison sentence of six years against the former head of the retirement authority, Ahmed Abdul Jalil Al-Saadi, on charges of bribery.
The ruling issued against the head of the former retirement authority stated that the verdict was issued after he was found guilty of taking bribes in relation to the health insurance contract for retirees, and the court decided to take legal measures against all members of the Board of Directors of the State Employees Pension Fund in accordance with Iraqi law.
