Erbil-ALSHARQIYA   March 7: Pope Francis had celebrated his biggest mass on his historic visit to Iraq at the Francois Hariri Stadium in the city of Erbil, in the presence of thousands of people
Thousands of worshipers received the Supreme Pontiff with an unprecedented hospitality during the ceremony that took place at the François Hariri stadium, in the presence of the President of the region, Nechirvan Barzani, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, and a large number of political and social figures and representatives of religious sects.
The Pope said in his prayers that he could see that the Church in Iraq is alive and that Christ lives in it again. The call to move away from narrow interests in order to live in peace.

The Pope stressed the need to remove greed for power from our hearts while our brothers and sisters suffer and said that God wants us to become a living structure of his love in brotherhood and mercy.
