Abu Dhabi-ALSHARQIYA   January 16: Abu Dhabi Police announced the arrest of an international drug trafficking ring, run from outside the country, and seizing a quantity of drugs estimated at one billion dirhams (about 272 million dollars)
Abu Dhabi Police published a video on its Twitter page showing the process of monitoring the gang members, whose members are estimated to be twenty-two, within an international drug trafficking gang. The video also showed the raid on the whereabouts of drugs and the arrest of a number of its members.
The volume of the seized drugs amounted to one ton and 41 kg, including the dissolved crystal liquid, with an estimated value of one billion dirhams ($ 272 million).
Police indicated that the seized gang was run from outside the country and had collaborators inside the country.
