Al-Fateh Bloc: The decision to grant an advance to the region is retroactive and illegal

Baghdad-ALsharqiya, June 17: The Al-Fateh Parliamentary Bloc issued a statement rejecting the decision of the Council of Ministers to hand over 200 billion dinars to the region per month as an advance retroactively, and said that it was a circumvention of the budget law. The statement of the Al-Fath bloc stated that the decision of the Council of Ministers is an explicit violation of the articles of the budget, which stipulate mutual obligations between the federal government and the regional government, noting that the regional government has not yet committed to implementing its obligations to the federal government in order to allow the legally stipulated clearing. The Al-Fateh bloc held the government responsible for the complications resulting from this decision, and said that it would take legal methods to prevent it
