Al-Kazemi meets Basra protesters

Basra-ALsharqiya, April 11: Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi met today, Sunday, during his visit to Basra Governorate. He met with a group of demonstrators from the province who gathered near the gate of the large Faw port project. According to a statement by his office, Al-Kazemi listened to the protesters ’arguments and stressed that demonstrating is a legitimate right and is protected by the state with all its agencies, provided that this right does not lead to damage to public and private property. Al-Kazemi directed preparations to meet with a delegation chosen by the demonstrators in Baghdad, to listen to their demands and find solutions to them.
