Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya wins the Iraqi League title

Baghdad-ALSHARQIYA   July 5: Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Football Club won, on Monday, the Iraqi Premier League Shield for the twelfth time in its history, after a great victory over the Naft Club team, while the Karkh and Amanat Baghdad teams managed to defeat the Basra and Samawa oil teams, In the 35th round of the league competitions.

The Air Force and Naft match took place at Taji Stadium at five in the afternoon, and the Air Force team scored first through its striker Ayman Hussein in the 21st minute of the first half, and in the second half Ayman Hussein also scored in the 53rd minute, and Ihsan Haddad in the 77th minute,

Louay Al-Ani scored in the 82nd minute, while the only goal for Al-Nitta came through Walid Karim in the 62nd minute, to end the match with a score of 4-1.

Thus, Al-Jawiya won the league title for the 2020-2021 season before its end, leading with 79 points, while the oil balance froze at the 46th point in seventh place.
