Beirut explosion: Parliament declares a state of emergency after the resignation of 7 deputies

Beirut-ALSHARQIYA   August  13 : The Lebanese Parliament declared a state of emergency in Beirut against the backdrop of the horrific port explosion, during its first meeting after the bombing.
The Lebanese parliament approved the resignation of 7 of its members, due to the explosion, which killed more than 150 people
The resigned Lebanese government had taken a decision to declare a state of emergency for a period of two weeks and to declare the capital Beirut a disaster city.
