Washington-ALsharqiya, June 21: The White House announced that US President Joe Biden will meet with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and the head of the government's Supreme Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah next Friday to discuss the withdrawal of US forces. The White House said that Biden will seek to reassure the two officials about support. He will also reiterate his pledge to the Afghan people to ensure that Afghanistan does not become a safe haven for terrorist groups.
