Border crossings: transporting highly dangerous materials stored at Baghdad airport

Baghdad-ALSHARQIYA   August  9 : The Border Ports Authority in Iraq announced the transfer of very dangerous materials from Baghdad International Airport, in implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi
The Ports Authority said in a statement that the Military Engineering Directorate detachment of the Ministry of Defense provided the necessary cadres and mechanisms to transport highly dangerous materials safely from the air cargo section at Baghdad International Airport.
These measures follow the horrific explosion that occurred in the Beirut port, whose spark was said to be a stored shipment of ammonia nitrate.
