Brent records 69.78 and US $ 67.18 per barrel

Texas-ALSHARQIYA   May  28 : Oil prices recorded a new high of $ 70 today, Friday, as the market was supported by strong US economic data and expectations of a strong recovery in global demand for fuel in the third quarter of the year.

 Brent crude futures rose 32 cents to $ 69 and 78 cents a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude reached $ 67 and 18 cents a barrel, up 33 cents.
