Brotherhood Summit: An agreement to provide facilities to increase the volume of trade exchange

Baghdad-ALsharqiya June 28: The leaders of Jordan, Egypt and Iraq stressed the need to adopt the best means and mechanisms to translate the strategic relations between the three countries on the ground, especially the economic and vital ones. The leaders of the three countries also agreed to continue seeking to integrate resources and provide all possible facilities to increase the volume of trade exchange. Among them, and strengthening efforts in the health, industrial and pharmaceutical fields, especially in light of the global consequences of the Corona virus pandemic on health, food and economic security. The final statement of the leaders of Jordan, Egypt and Iraq stipulated strengthening the electrical interconnection project and energy exchange between the three countries, linking gas transmission networks between Iraq and Egypt through Jordan, and ٳ adopting the memorandum of understanding proposed by Jordan to frame industrial integration, and working on ٳ completing the project to establish a regional company to market agricultural products, and encourage ٳ Investing in the housing sector, roads, bridges and infrastructure projects, and activating transport and shipping through the port of Nuweiba - Aqaba through the Karama - Trebil crossing, as well as facilitating visa procedures between the three countries.
