Dhi Qar-ALSHARQIYA   November 26: Protesters cut off the Shuhada Bridge in the city of Nasiriyah, the center of Dhi Qar governorate, to demand punishment for the killers of the demonstrators in the October protests
Local sources said that a number of protesters and the families of the martyrs crossed the bridge with burning tires, calling on the competent authorities to impose fair retribution on all those whose hands were stained with the blood of the demonstrators.
The sources indicated that the cutting off of the Martyrs Bridge coincides with the passage of a full year since the massacre in which dozens of demonstrators fell near the bridge, which was known as the Zaytoun Bridge.
