France is hosting a conference for the reconstruction of Beirut sponsored by the United Nations

Paris-Alsharqiya, August 8: France will host a donors conference tomorrow, Sunday, via a television circuit for Lebanon, at a time when countries are gathering to reconstruct Beirut after the massive explosion it witnessed days ago, according to the office of French President Emmanuel Macron. 

The conference, which will be co-sponsored by the United Nations, will seek pledges from participants, including US President Donald Trump.

The conference is expected to decide how to distribute the aid so that the Lebanese people directly benefit from it.
