Iranian forces hold the ship Willa

Washington-ALsharqiya, August 13: The US Central Command announced that Iranian forces, backed by two ships and a helicopter, had captured the Liberia-flagged Willa in international waters, before releasing it later.

The US command released a video clip explaining the details of the operation in which Iranian forces, including two ships and a helicopter, took the ship by surprise.

  Reuters quoted an American official as saying that the events took place near the Strait of Hormuz and that the Iranian forces released the ship at the end of the matter, adding that the American army did not participate in the matter in any way except through its monitoring of the situation.
