SANA: A civilian was killed and 6 wounded by shelling targeting Latakia

Lattakia-ALsharqiya May 5: At least one civilian was killed and six others were wounded as a result of Israeli raids on several targets in the coastal Lattakia governorate and its environs, Damascus announced that its air defenses had responded to them, according to official media. The official Syrian News Agency, SANA, quoted a military source as saying that the Israeli army carried out aerial bombardment from the southwest direction of Latakia, targeting some points in the coastal area, and the air defense media intercepted the missiles and dropped some of them. According to the source, the bombing resulted in the death of a civilian and the wounding of six others, including a child and his mother, in addition to some material losses, including a civilian facility for the manufacture of plastic materials.
