The AFC postpones the announcement of the host of the 2027 Asian Cup

Paris-ALSHARQIYA  July 21: The Executive Office of the Asian Football Confederation decided on Wednesday to review the date of announcing the host country for the 2027 Asian Cup.

Due to the ongoing challenges and nature of the Corona Virus “Covid-19” epidemic, the Executive Office noted the strict travel procedures in organizing inspection visits to the countries competing for hosting, which represents an important part in choosing the host country, so it was agreed to set the announcement date in 2022 instead of the date Previous on November 27, 2021.
