The coordination framework rejects the election results and says it will affect societal reconciliation

Baghdad-ALsharqiya October 17: The coordination framework of the Shiite forces preempted the announcement of the results of the general elections in Iraq by completely rejecting the results. The coordinating framework of the Shiite forces said in a statement after a meeting held at the home of the head of the Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, that the Electoral Commission insisted on adopting the contested results and bears full responsibility for the electoral failure and its mismanagement. The votes and the announcement of the results will negatively affect the democratic path and societal harmony in Iraq. Informed sources said that the statement issued by the coordination framework came after the meeting that was held at Al-Hakim’s house and attended by Nouri Al-Maliki, Hadi Al-Amiri, Haider Al-Abadi, Qais Al-Khazali, Faleh Al-Fayyad, Hammam Hamoudi and Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi.
