The deterioration of the health of former international player Nazem Shaker

Baghdad-Alsharqiya, August 10: The former international player and former Iraqi national team coach, Nazem Shaker, was transferred to a hospital in Erbil yesterday evening, Sunday, following the deterioration of his health after confirming his infection with Corona virus.

Informed sources said that Shaker had been quarantining himself inside his home four days ago, but his health deteriorated on Sunday evening, forcing his family to transfer him to a hospital in Erbil to ensure he was treated with oxygen.

Nazem Shaker is considered one of the most prominent Iraqi football stars in the eighties of the last century. He trained the national team in 2010 and trained Al-Karkh, Erbil, Dohuk, Neft, Peres, Air Force, Al-Masafi and Ararat.
