The Iraqi Prime Minister meets the President of the World Bank

Washington-ALSHARQIYA   July  28 : Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi discussed with the President of the World Bank Group, David Malpass, ways to support the Iraqi government's efforts in administrative reform and combating corruption.

During his meeting with Malpass at his residence in Washington, Al-Kazemi stressed the need to expedite the disbursement of more than one billion dollars available in loans to the World Bank to support the government in projects ready for implementation inside Iraq.

The two sides also discussed cooperation with regard to financing infrastructure projects in Iraq, in the fields of water, airports, and natural gas, as well as projects related to clean energy.
