The president of an Egyptian club talks about negotiations with Alves and Messi

Spain-ALSHARQIYA  July 5: The Spanish newspaper "Marca" reported that an unknown Egyptian team is seeking to sign the Brazilian star, Dani Alves, and the Argentine legend, Lionel Messi, after the two players formed an indomitable duo while playing for Barcelona.

Sherine Helmy, president of the Pharco Club, owned by a pharmaceutical company with the same name, who qualified this season to participate in the Egyptian Premier League for the first time since its establishment, said that his team's management is seeking to contract with Alves, who is 38 years old, to help the team compete.

He said, Helmy, in television statements: "I am working to bring Dani Alves from the Brazilian club Sao Paulo because his experience can help us."

"I met Danny and he told me that he wanted to play for Sao Paulo since he was eight, but I think I can convince him to come to Egypt," he added.

Helmy indicated that he also wanted to work alongside the star Lionel Messi, who is now free after the expiration of his contract with Barcelona.

However, the conversation with Messi was not about hiring him to play in the team: "We negotiated with Messi to strengthen relations with him and to contribute to raising awareness of the treatment of hepatitis C in Egypt."

It should be noted that the future of Messi, 34, with the “Catalan giant” is still ambiguous, although media reports confirmed earlier that the two parties had reached an agreement to renew the contract, but what prevents this so far is the “fair sports play” laws, because the salary The proposal exceeds Barcelona's financial resources at the moment.

And if Messi fails to stay in the "Camp Nou", his next destination will most likely be France to play for Paris Saint-Germain, according to multiple sports sources.
