The US State Department calls for a return to democracy in Sudan

Washington-ALSharqiya, October 28: The US Secretary of State renewed his rejection of what he described as the Sudanese army's seizure of power and the arrest of civilian leaders in the country.
Blinken said in a tweet on Twitter that he discussed by phone with Sudanese Foreign Minister Maryam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi the best ways available to the United States to support the Sudanese people in their demand for a return to democracy.
For his part, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said that Blinken discussed Washington's support for a civilian transition in accordance with the Sudanese Constitutional Declaration.
