TikTok and WeChat: China condemns the ban of the two apps and describes it as repression

Beijing -ALSHARQIYA  August 7: China condemned on Friday US President Donald Trump's ban on the two Chinese applications, "TikTok" and "WeChat", saying that it is "political manipulation and oppression."
 In response to a question during an interview with reporters, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wingbin accused Washington of placing its selfish interests above market principles and international rules.
 He added that the United States is carrying out arbitrary manipulation and political repression, which could only lead to its moral collapse and damage to its image.
