WASHINGTON-ALSHARQIYA October 26: US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the United States strongly condemns the actions of the Sudanese military, expressing his deep concern over reports of the security forces' use of live ammunition against demonstrators.
  The United States had suspended financial aid to Sudan of $700 million, which was aimed at supporting the democratic transition in the country.
  State Department spokesman Ned Price stressed that power must be returned to the civilian-led transitional government that represents the will of the people.
