Washington is considering imposing tough sanctions on Tehran

Washington-ALSHARQIYA  July 20: The United States of America is considering imposing tougher sanctions on Iranian oil sales to China as a way to push Tehran to conclude a new nuclear deal. The Wall Street Journal quoted US officials as saying that the United States aims to urge Iran to continue negotiating, or punish it by imposing severe sanctions on its oil sales to Beijing if it does not do so.

US officials said that if no decision is made about moving forward with the talks, there is a risk that these efforts will backfire, prompting Iran to accelerate its nuclear program.
